Alex has worked as a goldsmith for 20 years. He attended Farnham College to study 3D media where one of his tutors spotted his talent and asked him to do an apprentiship at his jewellers in Camberley, where he stayed for ten years. After a further 10 years at another jewellers in Odiham, he decided it was time to have his own shop and set his heart on the village of Hartley Wintney. In the workshop he can carry out repairs, resizings, polishing, redesigns as well as his own designs.

His own collections are contemporary, elegant and timeless. New designs are created weekly so the workshop is always a busy hub of activity.

Lucy's work

As the shop opened only a couple of weeks before lockdown, it was decided that we would give people something fun to look during their daily exercise, as Alex continued to work in the workshop. I planned the displays and we worked hard together to make it all look pretty during a pretty lonely time. Otherwise, I run the website and generally keep Alex laughing!

Olive's work

Not a lot really... looking pretty, sleeping and being friendly. She is particularly in love with Neil the postman but she loves everyone and every dog that walks by.
